Damien Hirst does Fashion Week
Not content with redecorating Prada's SoHo store for their fashion week party this weekend, Damien Hirst also showed his first collection for Levis entitled Warhol Factory X Levi's Damien Hirst, on Saturday. He sent edgy denim designs, zip detailed jackets, skull emblazoned tees and black mesh vests down a catwalk covered in his signature coloured dots. Diminutive fashionista Mary-Kate Olsen was front row for the show at the Gagosian gallery in Chelsea, as was the very gorgeous Vincent Gallo. Sounds like an unlikely fashion collaboration? Well..."from Damien Hirst, to Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat...these spirited luminaries wore the Original 501 jean as the ultimate "blank canvas" for self-expression and individuality", said Levi's vice president of marketing, Robert Cameron. The collection will hit stores in January...

The prestigious board of judges that decide the finalists of London's annual Fashion Fringe competition have announced the four designers who will get to show their collections at the Fashion Fringe final during London fashion week in September. One winner will go on to recieve £100,000 towards their next collection.
Go By A Secret Path (Eun Jeong), LF Markey, Sarah Easom and William Tempest were chosen from 303 original entrants, and now have just three months to put an impressive catwalk show together.
Head of the judging panel this year is Donatella Versace (pictured) who said, “I was very excited to be here today as I saw a lot of talent. Unfortunately, we had to choose four, but I feel that they have a great future ahead of them."
Previous winners of Fashion Fringe include some of London's rising design stars Erdem, Basso& Brooke and Sinah Stanic.
