International Women's Day maybe drawing to a close but over the next few days some of the world's most esteemed and successful women will descend on Londons Southbank centre for a festival of inspirational talks, music, film and comedy.
The roll call of big name speakers at WOW includes writer and political activist Naomi Wolf (who will discuss her latest book, Vagina: A New Biography) comedienne Sue Perkins and Alice Walker author of The Colour Purple .
Experts will debate everything from why Jane Austen is still relevant for a 21st century audience, to the politics of Afro hair.
And, in case youre wondering men aren't excluded from the weekend's events. Gordon Brown MP discusses international activism and a Guys Guide to Feminism is one of the scheduled talks.
As part of the extensive program ELLEs deputy editor Natasha Pearlman will take part in a discussion about fashion, beauty and style on Saturday, chaired by June Sarpong co-founder of Women: Inspiration and Enterprise.
The burning question they will be debating? Why, despite its vital contribution - £40bn- to the British economy, the fashion industry isn't taken more seriously.
