How has your fashion week been?

It’s been pretty awesome! I’ve been doing things that I want to do and the things that I love, so at the moment I’m just really happy – my dreams are coming true!

So of all the shows you’ve ever done in your fashion career, which have been the most standout?

Probably Mulberry - especially with my bag coming out, that was the most amazing thing to happen. I mean to create a handbag is kind of hysterical! I actually designed one at school for textiles – I hated designing clothes so I made a handbag instead, that’s what makes this whole thing so funny.

Did the designing process go smoothly?

Creatively, the Mulberry team and I worked together so well - we were just so in sync.

What’s the biggest thing to be happening to you this year?

A lot of exciting things are happening, so to be honest I couldn’t pick one!

Do you prefer modelling or acting?

Acting definitely, but obviously modelling is also amazing.

If you could play any part what would it be?

I would love to play the part of a really strong female character, I’ve been for so many parts where women have this secondary role, where they’re broken down by men and made strong as a result. In my opinion, there aren’t enough roles out there in the acting world that women and young girls would be able to look up to.

Who would be your dream leading man or woman?

I’d love to be in a film with one of my favourite actors like Judi Dench, Meryl Streep, or Daniel Day Lewis – just to learn and see how they do it. That’s how I learned how to act, it’s all life experience, watching and seeing how it all works.

Did you have training?

I went to a really good theatrical school, Bedales, so that’s why I love theatre so much. I didn’t have any proper training but I don’t think you need it. Billy Bob Thornton once said to me, the only thing you could do to a good actor by sending them to a theatre school is make them worse, I’ve never seen a bad actor learn how to act!

Let’s talk tattoos: what’s the next one going to be?

I don’t know! I don’t even remember the last one...I’ve got 10 altogether. But there’s a few more I want to get but I’ve got to wait…

What are you waiting for?

I don’t know! I never really pre-empt when I’m going to get one, but I like it to be for a memory or for something that’s happened.

Are you off to Milan and Paris? Can you reveal what shows we’ll be seeing you in?

I am indeed but I’m not allowed to say which!

Who’s your favourite designer?

Karl Lagerfeld is a genius! Everything he does turns to gold and he’s so lovely, he’s like my fairy godfather. Anywhere he goes there is something fun and amazing going on.

Do you have a style icon?

Charlie Chaplin!
