Make-up artist Mary Greenwell created the beauty look for actress Felicity Jones before last night's ELLE Style Awards. Here Greenwell shares the secrets to the beauty look:
I started off with Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream to hydrate and prep the skin; I then primed Felicity's face with NARS Oil Free Pro Primer to soften pores.
To even out her skin I went for a matte foundation, Teint Couture Long-Wearing Fluid Foundation no 3 by Givenchy with perfecting coverage
I used NARS Concealer in Chantilly under the eyes and then followed by NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly just in the inner corners of her eye for added brightness.
To create Felicity’s gorgeous smoky eye, I started off lining the whole eye with NARS Eye Liner in Black Moon, used right until the very inner corner of the eye, blended with NARS Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in Empire, used over the top lid for a more intense look.
To intensify the smoky effect I blended a mixture of taupe and dark shades on the eyelid and into the socket of eye, and for a doll-like effect; I blended and lined underneath the lower lid all over with Suqqu Blend Colour Eye Shadow Palette no: 04 and finished off with Sensai Volumising Mascara in Black, the look was very much a nod to a sixties smokey eye.
I used NARS Gina Blush on the apples of her cheeks, mixed with Sex Appeal Blush to create a soft focus effect, just enough to give a gentle amount of colour to her fair complexion. I applied Nico Highlighting Blush over the top to get a perfect undefined effect.
A little NARS Pressed Powder in Flesh set the make-up in place.
On the brows I applied NARS Brow Perfector in Surname using small hair-like strokes to fill out and perfect the brows.
Finally I defined her lips NARS Lip Liner in Tonga followed by Rouge d’Armani Sheer Lipstick in 100.
