The Who: Gia Seo
New York based stylist and model, Gia Seo is a first-generation American hailing from Korea. The Alaskan native has an impressive CV behind her: Jeffrey's, Opening Ceremony and most recently a buyer at The Webster (Google has convinced me all of these places are v cool) before exploring a solo career in styling.
Scrolling through Gia's Instagram is a mood board of how to have fun with fashion from socks and shoes to inspired denim.
If you are bored of your wardrobe, grab the glue gun, the maribou feathers and head on over to her gram in a lesson on couture crafting.
The What: Net-A-Porter x Sacai
Sacai is, to its roots invariably cool. The house has championed the movement of sport luxe long before anyone uttered the word athleisure. Creative Director, Chitose Abe, trained at Comme De Garcons for eight years before launching her own incredibly successful line in 1999. Sacai previously teamed up with Nike Lab for a collection so hot it sold out before you could say 'what's Yeezy?', and for this collab she has turned her sporting hand to Net-A-Porter producing an exclusive 16 piece capsule collection with the e-commerce giants. Shop the collection here.
Championing this season's hero piece: the hoodie, Sacai have neatly transformed this once slob-loved piece into a sophisticated wardrobe essential through luxe fabrics and sharp lines. Think drawstring-tied pencil skirts, wide-leg sporty striped trousers, sweatshirts with lace collars and voila you have Sacai saving your athleisure wardrobe from bobbled leggings and see through bra tops.
The Update: The 'it' bag has been dethroned, move over Gucci
You know the Dionysus, and no I don't mean the Greek God of the grape harvest, he of libatious living. I mean the Gucci Dionysus the bag seen on every fashion editor, every stylist, every insta-star and every well groomed woman down Old Bond Street, THE bag of 2016 that came in two sizes, multiple embroidery variations, a vast array or colours and prints but with one universal clasp of a double-headed snake. All those saved Instagrams have come flooding back, right?
Well move over, there's a new 'it' bag in town thanks to Gabriela Hearst and her Nina bag who have taught us the three successful steps to creating an 'it' bag:
1. Don't sell it in store
2. Don't sell it online
3. Make a limited run in number and colours that fashion set descend into hysterical sweats
And that is how you create a stampede of orders, because if you want a Nina get in line, and by line I mean a 1000 long waiting list. The secret is out, it queen bee status if your goal, this is the only way you are getting it - via a smallish, top-hand bag with fold-over closure.

Episode 1: 90s Mania
The 90s resurgence is alive and kicking thanks to the revival of Juicy Couture, slip dresses, street wear brands and of course Craig David. Italian accessories brand Furla have hit the 90s nail on the head with their 90th birthday collection. And if the 90s doesn't take your fancy (rude) they have all decades covered with their 60s vinyl bag, 50s Duke Box bag and 80s punk inspired design. Grab your 90s bag, sling on your Kappa tracksuit and get humming the Fresh Prince of Bel air song.

The Update: Gold Hoops
Remember those gold hoop earrings you used to buy in packets of 5 from Claire's Accessories? The ones you had dash to the shops to grab before your big night of VK Oranges and bad Destiny's Child mash ups – because your outfit just wouldn't be complete? The same ones you never came home wearing because why would you need to, you had four more pairs to go. Well, dig them out because the gold hoop has just become the hero of 2017.
We all have our defining outfit. The one you pull out when you can't be bothered to think beyond what's clean and what's been stashed in the laundry bin for well over a week. For me it's jeans, a roll neck and white trainers a la Steve Jobs. It was working a treat for 2016 and now we are well in to 2017 and it feels a little tired. Faced with either finding a new style icon and getting a new look I took to Instagram for inspiration. Divine intervention struck when I realised almost every picture was garnished with a beautiful gold hoop. I took note and after a year-long earring hiatus the compliments came rolling in.
From the simple thin gold halo to the latest in structural hoops, this isn't just for the magpies. Wear with a slick of red lipstick and the knowledge that you've just been let in on the secret.
The How Do I Get My Hands On This: Good American Jeans
Good American, the denim brand launched by Khloe Kardashian and Emma Grede that in the first day of sales cashed in over $1million has landed in the UK. The denim offering which focusses on fitting the curves of your body rather than the outdated idea of straight up and down bodies is taking centre stage at London's Selfridges.
Selfridges, in a body positive move, have taken on the full range of sizes 00-24, meaning for the first time ever the iconic store are stocking plus sizes. Using premium quality denim with a fashion forward deisgn aesthetic shopping for jeans regardless of shape or size just went from daunting to exciting.
Welcome to the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Episode 1: Red Meets Pink Meets Red Meets Pink
There are colour combinations that you are told to stay away from: brown and black, blue and green (should never be seen without a colour in-between), and the big 'no no' red and pink (very much told this does not make the boys wink). But you were told wrong! Pink and red is THE colour combo to trump all other colour combos as told by Celine, Balenciaga, Valentino.
It comes with its trickery though, don't be fooled by how easy I have just made this sound: it requires textures, lengths and layering. Whether you decide to dedicate your lewk to pink and red alone, or feel more comfortable throwing in another shade these are the two pieces guaranteed to elevate you to fashun status.
