Not so long ago the doe-like brown eyes and blonde pixie crop hair of self-confessed tomboy, India Graham, were unknown to the fashion world. But things all changed this year when the 19-year-old Michigan native won a modelling competition in partnership with W magazine and IMG models.

Since then India has starred in an Adidas campaign, Allure magazine and most recently fronting the G-Star campaign alongside industry heavyweights Adwoa Aboah and Pharrell Williams. We caught up with the striking model to find out more.

Cooking. I like to cook a lot especially when I have down time and I get to experiment with things.

I was super sporty at school and I played basket and volleyball to a good level until i was injured. If I hadn't pursued modelling I would have loved to be a professional basketball player.
