With just a week until the Erdem for H&M collection arrives in stores, the brand has intensified the excitement by unveiling its campaign video, directed by Baz Luhrmann.
Soundtracked by the Years and Years,The Secret Life of Flowers sees a young man introduced to a magical country house where it is always spring. Harriet Walter plays the lady of the house - Miss Havisham type figure - who fills the house with as many wild flowers as possible. She then throws a lavish dinner party where the lead meets the girl of his dreams. A love triangle emerges, but nothing that bad can really happen in Erdem's flower-filled world.
'I wanted the film to be like a whole movie,' says Luhrmann. 'It's a very modern love story, set in a country house that is full of its own secrets and it's like a metaphor for our times - it's harsh out there in the world, but in here, the things that really matter keep growing in an eternal spring.'
