Unveiled today, Coach's Spring 2018 campaign is a celebration of the grit and glamour of New York City. The imagery was shot by photographer Steven Meisel and styled by Karl Templer with creative direction by Fabien Baron, makeup by Pat McGrath, and hair by Guido Palau.

The collection itself was heavily inspired by the artwork by Keith Haring, whose seemingly endless flow of subway chalk drawings became emblematic of the rough-and-tumble upheaval of 1980s New York and addressed the pivotal political issues of the decade. Coach's trademark leather flap bags and satchels were overlain with Haring's colourful graphics, which evoke a sense of pop art in the designs.

The women's collection mixes elements of the masculine and feminine and includes satin bomber jackets, delicate lace slip dresses, and glitter Western-inspired booties. The clothing served as a canvas for Haring's work, in which sequin embellishments on women's tees and skirts depicted the artist's iconic interlocking human figures, while shearling and soft suede jackets in the men's collection were juxtaposed with whimsical Hawaiian print shirts.

Leather bags were also embroidered with patchwork from Haring's iconic prints, while the new Signature bag included a re-imagined Coach pattern, combined with bold metal hardware and rivets.
