If Harry Potter were more 'high fashion' than 'scruffy hair and Dudley's hand-me-downs', he'd look exactly like this genius Instagram page, which combines Dior's catwalk looks with the halls of Hogwarts.

Gryffindior is as bizarrely perfect as it sounds. The social media account popped up at the beginning of January, and quite frankly we can't understand why it's taken so long for someone to put Hermione in a fringed Maria Grazia Chiuri jacket?

The idea reimagines serious and intense scenes from the HP franchise films (the Battle of Hogwarts, for example) but this time around the characters are wearing haute couture Christian Dior.

And tbh, I'm thinking about pitching a similar concept to Warner Bros.

The account was created by Rachel Bernstein, a senior art director at high-end fashion retailer Moda Operandi. She told Who What Wear:

'I'd been looking for a project to brush up my Photoshop skills, the Instagram handle was still available (to my surprise!) and from there I started researching images and making posts.

'The audience for both high fashion and Harry Potter thrive off fantasy, strength, and humour, so the two are an easy match.'

Bernstein said she'd love to dress Fleur Delacour, but as she's not a Gryffindor she doesn't fit with the concept.

We're sensing a whole bunch of fashion-related wizard school houses here. Yves Slytherin, maybe? That's pretty much all I have.

Personally I'm all about Neville Longbottom working Dior Homme après-ski, but the most 'successful' image from the account so far is Minerva McGonagall in a velvet patchwork coat, which has gotten over 3,000 likes but deserves so many more.

One thought: Luna Lovegood was clearly the stylish one in HP…can we get her in a ball gown?
