Thousands of revellers flocked to West London this weekend for the Notting Hill Carnival. The annual festival of Caribbean culture saw more than 70 floats accompanied by hundreds of drummers and dancers wind their way down Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Grove. The fashion was nearly as loud as the sound-systems dotting Europes biggest street party. Carnival-goers treated the occasion as an excuse for exuberance, with fringed ponchos, ikat prints and eye-popping brights in abundance.
