When you're an A-list celebrity, you're fortunate enough to be able to afford month-long séjours in the French Riviera and boast seasonal wardrobes straight off the catwalk.
So we were surprised to hear Mila Kunis admitted spending just £145 on her wedding rings when she married husband Ashton Kutcher last year.
Where from?
Etsy – yes the e-commence handmade marketplace famed for homeware and crafts.
Appearing on Conan last night, the Black Swan actress admitted:
'I can't believe that I'm telling anybody this story. So, my husband and I got married a little while ago. He got me a beautiful engagement ring. Like, stunning, stunning, stunning!'
'But for our wedding bands — for when we got married — I decided to just get them off of Etsy,' the 32-year-old added.
Praising her savvy spending habits, presenter Conan O'Brien said: 'Now, listen: I've been talking to you for years and I've always loved the fact that you're frugal.'
Mila replied: 'That's a nice way of saying 'cheap,' but yes.'
The actress – who is pregnant with her second child – said she originally wanted a thin platinum ring from Tiffany and Co. but was shocked to learn how much they cost so decided to buy hers and Kutcher's rings online.
'Ashton's was $100 (£76), so technically his wedding band was a little bit more expensive,' she added.
Mila, we salute you.
