But the singer has reached yet another milestone in the success story of her second album: 21 has overtaken Michael Jacksons Thriller in the list of the best-selling albums in the UK.
The album has sold 4,274,300 copies in the UK, or 500 more than the Jackson hit.
Thriller has long been recognized as one of the most iconic albums of all time, someone named Martin Talbot, from something called the Official Charts Company, told the BBC. There is no doubt that 21 can be spoken of in the same breath.
In the 15 months since its release, the album has also achieved the status of the top-selling record of the 21st century.
