Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio isn't just a pretty face, you know. The latest string to her bow? A fashion line and who better to model the clothes than Alessandra herself?
The new collection at which Alessandra has just given us a first look via Instagram is entitled Alé by Alessandra and will be launched on 17 March by bohemian-chic brand Planet Blue.
And we can safely say that her designs are a far cry from the more revealing looks that she's previously sported on the VS catwalk.
Featured pieces include a printed bralet and high-waisted shorts set, a crisp white kaftan and a floaty, off-the-shoulder maxi dress. Think Free People, but a little more beachy.
I cannot think of a better place to launch the apparel for my brand,' Alessandra has said of the line. 'I have been a fan of Planet Blue since I moved to California, and the brands authentic bohemian beach vibe is the perfect backdrop for my first collection.
