The task of entertaining the millions of people who tuned in across the globe to watch the Super Bowl this year fell to Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. The two acts rocked the Halftime Show, which Mars opened with an impressive drum solo before being joined by the Chilli Peppers for a nostalgic delivery of the band’s hit song Give it Away.
Last year, Beyoncé’s mega performance at the big game caused a blackout, but Mars’ set went without a hitch, although he had admitted earlier in the week he was worried about the cold weather.

'It's like the microphone turns into a Popsicle,' he said. 'We're getting some heaters on everything.'

Speaking of Queen Bey, the singer made a surprise appearance at Jay-Z’s pre-Super Bowl Concert. The couple gave another unforgettable rendition of Drunk In Love, following their performance at last weekend’s Grammy Awards.
