and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers
. The two acts rocked the Halftime Show, which Mars opened with an impressive drum solo before being joined by the Chilli Peppers for a nostalgic delivery of the bands hit song Give it Away
Last year, Beyoncés
mega performance at the big game caused a blackout, but Mars set went without a hitch, although he had admitted earlier in the week he was worried about the cold weather.

'It's like the microphone turns into a Popsicle,' he said. 'We're getting some heaters on everything.'
Speaking of Queen Bey, the singer made a surprise appearance at Jay-Zs pre-Super Bowl Concert. The couple gave another unforgettable rendition of Drunk In Love, following their performance at last weekends Grammy Awards.
