ELLE debate: feminism

Win tickets to the event

There’s few things we like more here at ELLE HQ than a proper debate. It’s how we formulate all our best ideas, case in point - our groundbreaking feminism project.
For the November issue we partnered three ad agencies with three feminist groups to come up with campaigns to 'rebrand' feminism. The response has been phenomenal – some people agreed that the movement needs a rebrand, some argued strongly against. We like to get people talking, so so we’ve decided to hold an event. The topic for debate is 'Does feminism need a rebrand?'
On Monday 18 November in London ELLE’s Editor Lorraine Candy will host an evening of conversation joined by a special panel including – deep breath - stand-up comedian Sara Pascoe, Jo Swinson, Minister for Women and Equalities, Laura Jordan Bambach, Vice President, D&AD, Ruby Tandoh, finalist on The Great British Bake-off, Kat Banyard, founder of UK Feminista, Ikamara Larasi, co-founder, Rewind & Reframe and Holly Armstrong and Rhiannon Lucy Cosslett, co-founders, Vagenda.
We want you to join our discussion, in person. To be in with a chance of winning one of five pairs of tickets to the event send us the question you want to ask our panel on Monday. Tickets will be awarded to those who come up with the most interesting, insightful and provocative questions. Bring on the debate!
Send your question to elleexperience@elleuk.com by midnight on Thursday 14 November, with ELLE REBRANDING FEMINISM in the subject line to be in with a chance of winning.
