There's no getting away from how pretty star Sam Claflin is. Or how brave (check here for further explanation). Or, it turns out, how much fun.

The new boy to The Hunger Games trilogy (he plays warrior turned love-God Finnick Odair in the new installment, Catching Fire) talked to ELLE about the on-set camaraderie, and his relationship with one Jennifer Lawrence. Put it this way... he adores the girl.

'She speaks her mind. If she's unhappy, she says so. If she's happy, she says so. She doesn't take anyone's bullsh*t – excuse my French,' he told us on the set of our exclusive photoshoot. 'She' so normal. She wins an Oscar and the first thing she does is put her finger up to the press.

'The director told us: "Have fun, but keep on with the job in hand." And that's Jennifer in a nutshell; she's the most down-to-earth, normal grounded person who'll be telling you a joke one minute, crying on set the next, then retelling the joke.'

So in answer to the question: 'Why is the whole world in love with Jennifer Lawrence right now?', Sam (who for the record is happily married to actress Laura Haddock) has the simple answer: 'She's so easy to fall in love with.'

Can't argue with that, really.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is out 21 November
