What do you need to do to win an Oscar for Best Actress/Supporting Actress? Apart from an outstanding performance, it seems that if women wear certain designers’ pieces, they’re more likely to win one of those famous statues.

Also, while winners of Best Actress and Supporting Actress awards have been successful in black, no Best Supporting Actress winner has worn gold (but eight Best Actresses have).
