Kim Kardashian West is no stranger to nudity or a form-fitting dress, and last night, she somehow sported both.
The reality star freed the nipple last night in a shimmery sheer tank dress by Maison Margiela, with nothing else but her Spanx and silver thigh-high boots, while leaving her AirBnB in SoHo. As shocking as her ensemble was, it did seem familiar. Kardashian West seems to have given a modern take to this iconic '90s look, courtesy of Kate Moss:
Back in 1993, a 19-year-old Moss created a historic fashion moment when she donned a sheer silvery slip dress with nothing else but black briefs and a laissez-faire attitude. She wore the look at Elite's Look of the Year contest, and regardless of who took home the title that night, Moss definitely had the most lasting impression.
Twenty-three years later, Kim put her own spin on the outfit with over-the-knee boots—a Kardashian outfit staple—tucked under the hem of her see-through dress.
