The recent craze over Netflix's Stranger Things has put some talented young actors under the spotlight—especially Millie Bobby Brown, the 12-year-old who plays the show's unlikely supernatural heroine Eleven (El, for short). Now that she's shown off her acting chops, Brown is putting her equally impressive personal style on display.
Yesterday, the tweenage English actress took on NYFW, sitting front row at the Coach spring 2017 show with style faves like her costar Winona Ryder, Chloë Grace Moretz, Riley Keough, and Emma Roberts.
Brown sported an adorable compilation of patterns with a satin bomber and patent-leather booties. (Those studs, though.) She even kept on the front-row look for her taping of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
What's lovable about Brown's style is that it's fun, quirky, boyish, and unabashedly young. She dresses for her age with prints and colors, and she isn't rushing to step out in high heels, which is fine because her sneakers, boots, and oxfords of choice are nonetheless chic. Though she's got the cute factor, her pixie cut gives her that cool-girl appeal. You can't help but draw comparisons to Ryder's staple '90s look.
At the age of 12, Brown also already has close ties with big-time designers like Burberry (perhaps we'll see her at London Fashion Week, too). Take a look at her adorable-yet-enviable style streak as of late:
Last night on The Late Show, she wore this heart graphic tee with a gray plaid skirt by the designer, paired with chunky black leather boots for a bit of a punk feel.
She wore a little white Burberry dress on The Tonight Show along with leather loafers and slicked back her hair with a headband.
In a more casual look, she wore a simple white tee and khaki combo courtesy of the British brand at the Young Hollywood studio.
Besides Burberry, Brown has also worn this mod color-blocked look from Penshoppe:
She also knows how to style a pair of light-wash overalls—over a plain white T-shirt and Adidas NMD sneaks, which all the cool kids are wearing these days.
And she wore this white floral gown—with matching Chucks, of course—to the Stranger Things premiere.
Like any member of the style set, Brown has already been sharing her outfits on Instagram, just in case you want to follow along with her #ootds.
We can't wait to see what she wears next.
