It may be Kylie’s 45th birthday today but she’s hard at work in the studio in Australia. So we’ll have to celebrate for her.

The former Neighbours star, Hollywood actress and global pop superstar has many strings to her bow, but her biggest achievement is, of course, being a multiple ELLE cover star, and what better way to mark her big day than to revisit them.

Kylie has graced our cover an impressive seven times, first appearing in October 2001 and most recently on our January issue this year. Take a look at what really happened on the set of her shoot below:
