is famous for her style. But all leaders have influences, and when Beckham appeared on the ELLE cover earlier this year she revealed her own style icon: The legendary Barbra Streisand
"I love her," Beckham confessed, and went on to describe a date night, when a certain Mr David Beckham, took her to see Streisand perform at the Hollywood Bowl. "She is the epitome of chic. She looked magnificent. She wears lots of , and she had on this fabulous Donna Karan dress that just draped perfectly. She had this gorgeous hair. She was just beautiful. I love her.
"It was so cold and she took a 20 minute break during the show, and the audience were getting really p***ed off. I hadn't dressed properly for the night, and I was freezing. But in my head she was backstage, taking a bubble bath, sipping champagne, hanging out with famous people, and changing into another fabulous Donna Karan gown and more furs, so I didnt mind waiting. I was like: You take your time, Babs. She is worth waiting for. David went off during the break and bought me every bit of the merchandise."
