Madonna and Beyoncé on the same billing is the stuff dreams are made of – and they’re about to come true, thanks to Chime For Change.

Today, Her Madgesty is confirmed as the latest act to play at The Sound Of Change Live at London’s Twickenham Stadium on 1 June.

She joins an already-stellar line-up that includes Jennifer Lopez, Ellie Goulding, Florence + the Machine, Haim, Timbaland and Rita Ora.

And, if that weren’t enough to get your megastar-o-meter soaring, Jay-Z will be making an appearance alongside his wife, while Jessica Chastain, Zoe Saldana and Freida Pinto have been named as presenters, joining James Franco, Blake Lively and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

The Sound Of Change Live is a global platform to highlight Chime For Change, the global charity initiative founded by Gucci earlier this year in a bid to call for improved education, health and justice for women worldwide.

Or, in the words of its creative director Beyonce, ‘Our goal is to have a great time together while we unite and strengthen the voices of girls and women around the world.'

Now with Madonna on board, it’s really time to get this party started. A celebration of global girl power just wouldn’t be the same without her.
