The hip indie film and music festival hits London this weekend with a string of screenings that were the toast of Sundance US – starring some of our favourite actors.

Step forward Ellen Page in Touchy Feely…
From Juno to Whip It, Ellen Page has a knack for picking cool female-focused indie films – and Touchy Feely is just that.

A relationships dramedy from writer-director Lynn Shelton (Your Sister’s Sister), it features Page as Jenny, a soulful-eyed dental assistant with a gigantic, heart-wrenching crush on cycle shop worker Jesse (Scoot McNairy).

The snag? Jesse’s in a relationship with Jenny’s aunt Abby (Rosemaire DeWitt), a masseur who’s going through a few issues herself.

It’s a low-key, perceptive and amusing look at love, work and new experiences.

Page puts in a sensitive, revealing performance, each stolen glance and half-smile speaking volumes.

Meanwhile DeWitt is impressive as the free spirited commitment-phobe who decides the answer to her problems is taking ecstasy…

May the fun commence...
