There is a long-standing myth that all who attend Fashion Week must switch outfits numerous times a day. For most editors, buyers and assistants, this is far from the truth - the packed schedule doesn't allow for it - but, somehow, Olivia Palermo managed an impressive four outfit changes yesterday, all of which were equally chic. The influencer and street style star makes polished glossiness look artfully easy.

It should be noted that it's considered polite, if you're an influencer or celebrity, to wear the respective brand when at a certain designer's show. Often front row stars will borrow pieces from the label in advance so that, when they're photographed, it's extra publicity for the designer or brand.

Palermo began at the Preen show at 11am, wearing a coral-coloured floral wrap dress with ruffle detailing from the brand's new high-street collaboration with LK Bennett. This she teamed with a pair of black ankle boots.

Her schedule then took her to Roland Mouret's 12pm show at the National Theatre, where she wore a ribbed brown polo neck, a striped midi skirt and ankle boots (the same style she wore to Preen).

Then came outfit number three as seen first at the Malone Souliers presentation at, when she - miraculously quickly - changed into an elegant butterscotch-coloured polo neck and check midi skirt, teamed with metallic heels. She stuck to the same look at Topshop Unique and Peter Pilotto.

For her finale evening look, Palermo opted for sequins. She attended the Emporio Armani show in black jeans, a black silk top with choker detailing and a sequinned robe thrown over the top. A pair of ankle boots finished off the look.
