Kate Middleton met with baking guru Mary Berry yesterday in Saunderton, Buckinghamshire, as part of the royal couples visit in support of the charity Child Bereavement UK.
It was a poignant day on both sides: Berrys son William died in a car crash, aged 19, in 1989, while Prince William lost his mum the same way when he was just 15. Kate, of course, is five months pregnant with the couples first child.
Yesterday, however, was one of joy, as Kate scooped up soft toys and sweets from wellwishers but didn't let anything slip about baby this time.
Apparently, she has been doing a bit of family nesting though. She told Berry in front of the attendant press: Im a big fan of your cook books and your cakes.
William joked that his tummys a fan, before admitting his baking weakness: chocolate brownies.
