Have you read Fifty Shades of Grey? Kate Moss has, but rather than bury it in a kindle and sketchily cover it with a scarf whilst reading it on the tube, she’s come out and proud and read it aloud on national radio.

The supermodel read a passage from the book live on Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 Comic Relief Breakfast show, to help hit a target of £200,000 of donations for Comic Relief.

Perhaps even more surprising than the amount Moss raised by donating her rarely-heard voice, was the fact that she actually managed to make the passage from the mummy porn book sound sexy. Anyone who has read the first chapter of the book will know how difficult this feat is.

But devout fans of the model will know that she has a come-to-bed voice to match her feline eyes thanks to previous appearances in Agent Provocateur video campaigns, where she narrates The Four Dreams of Miss X in scintillatingly sultry tone.

The Radio 1 seduction is the second of Moss’ charitable acts for Comic Relief this year. She’s already modeled in Stella McCartney’s t-shirt campaign. Watch the behind the scenes action of that here but first, watch her release that ‘inner goddess’ for us all to see...
