Beyoncé and her family never disappoint when it comes to Halloween costumes, and this year was no exception. For Kelly Rowland's party over the weekend, Queen Bey and her husband JAY-Z dressed up as another couple of music royalty: Lil' Kim and The Notorious B.I.G.
The few pictures from the evening only give glimpses of the Carters' looks, but eagle-eyed fans were quick to identify their costumes from the snaps. (Bey probably staged a photoshoot at home like she usually does with her outfits, anyway. We wouldn't be surprised if she posts some posed shots on Instagram soon.)
Bey wore a black curly wig, a white button-down, black suspenders and sunglasses, referencing Lil' Kim's look in Missy Elliott's "The Rain" music video. She even drew a mole in the perfect spot above her lip.
Meanwhile, JAY-Z channeled his fellow Brooklyn rapper's iconic look with a red leather jacket, white tee, jeans, sunglasses and a cane.
This is only the latest installment of Beyoncé's incredible group or couple's costumes with family members throughout the years. In 2014, she dressed up as Janet Jackson to Blue Ivy's Michael Jackson.
In 2015, she, JAY-Z, and Blue channeled Coming to America.
Last year, Bey, her mother Tina Lawson and Blue were Salt-N-Pepa—varsity jackets, kente kufi hats and all.
For her second costume of 2016, she also dressed up as Barbie and Ken with JAY-Z and Blue.
It wouldn't come as a shock if the Carters' Lil' Kim and Biggie outfits were only the first of many costumes they'll be wearing this year. After all, we still haven't seen Blue in Halloween garb yet, and there could be a slight chance that the twins could dress up too.
