Rosamund Pike is the new face of high street chain L.K.Bennett’s spring/summer 2013 campaign.

The 33-year-old British beauty will also front the brand’s luxury capsule collection, Black Ribbon.

The first picture to be released, showing the Pride and Prejudice star wearing a crisp white shirt and black leather pencil skirt with black courts, was taken by photographer Mariano Vivanco in London.

The low-key but polished outfit is typical of the brand, whose particular style of affordable luxury has become increasingly popular since being marked out as a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge, who has worn their shoes, dresses and coats to numerous royal engagements. The royal seal of approval has aided the brand’s expansion in the USA where they have opened a series of stand alone stores and concessions since 2011.

The spring/summer 2013 collection, as modelled by Pike, will land in stores from later this month, followed by a collaboration with fashion director of Tank magazine Caroline Issa and a capsule collection of ‘vintage’ courts, which both land in February.

Pike’s latest film Jack Reacher, in which she stars alongside Tom Cruise, is in cinemas now.
