Rihanna took to the X-Factor finals stage last night in a white crocodile skin outfit from .

Having once prompted nearly 4500 people to complain to Ofcom because of a provocative dance in a tiny bikini on the same programme two years ago, Rihanna had toned her performance right down, wearing the relatively demure cut away top and high-waisted skirt which was on the catwalk at New York fashion week just three months ago.

The collection caused quite a stir back in September, when Wang lit up the catwalk with UV lights, making the glow in the dark, from the dresses and hooded parkas right down to the unusual white heeled sandals with straps wrapped around the top of the calves, which Rihanna also wore to perform songs Stay and We Found Love.

The singer has long been a fan of the Chinese-American designer, whose luxury sportswear aesthetic caters perfectly to her taste, and has worn his designs everywhere from film premieres to TV appearances.

Wang also took up the role of creative director at Balenciaga last week, which he will design alongside his eponymous collection.
