Kristen Stewarts red carpet signature has often been to combine elements of her day-to-day garb, like one of her beloved biker jackets, Converse or Keds trainers, plus what looks suspiciously like unwashed hair with whichever designer frock she has opted for.
Not last night though. The actress took to the red carpet for the LA premiere of Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 in a shimmering gold and nude Zuhair Murad Autumn Winter 2012 gown which evoked shades of Old Hollywood glamour only slightly betrayed by the fact the sheer paneled skirt revealed her matching gold knickers as it wasnt lined.
Even her beauty look had been ratcheted up a notch or five with her habitual smoky eye and tousled locks replaced with a Veronica Lake-esque waves and a side parting, complimented by a coat of deep pink lipstick.
Impressive.
