Giving this adorable family-album-worthy snap of Victoria Beckham and her brood out and about in Los Angeles a second glance gave us a shock earlier today. For on her feet, Victoria is debuting buckled shoes. Flat, buckled shoes. Of course, they are very high fashion, spring/summer 2013 pair from her own catwalk collection, to go with her dress of the same provenance - but still. When VB wears flats, you know it's a major trend.
Which brings us to exhibit B: model, burlesque star and retro beauty icon Dita Von Teese who, as far as we know, has never been parted from her heels and who counts Christian Louboutin among her closest friends, has also been pictured wearing ballet flats in public the very same weekend.
