Whether youve become addicted to following the antics of the Royals and the Middletons, or youre simply wondering how to plug the hole in your life left by the end of the Great British Bake Off series, Pippa Middletons book could be the answer. Its a party planning/cookery book called Celebrate.
In the introduction, Pippa reflects; Its a bit startling to achieve global recognition (if thats the right word) before the age of 30, on account of your sister, your brother-in-law and your bottom, before going on to dispense advice on such niggling issues as what to feed the hordes at a childrens Halloween party and how to create a traditional Highland tea.
Pippa was reported to have earned a none-too-shoddy six figure deal for the book which is being serialised by the Mail on Sunday which means she brings in even more in serialisation rights. However, Pippa deflects any kind of criticism for jumping on the royal bandwagon and trading on her princess sisters fame.
In a quote from the book, she said; One day, I might be able to make sense of this . . . I certainly have opportunities many can only dream of, but in most ways Im a typical girl in her 20's trying to forge a career and represent herself in what can sometimes seem rather strange circumstances.
Its said her publishers already have a sequel in mind on how to have a wedding on a budget.
