Remember Zoolander? The movie that introduced the world to Blue Steel, the concept of the model walk-off, and the ‘orange mocha frappuccino’ song came out ten years ago. And Derek Zoolander appears to be ready for a comeback, with a little help from Lady Gaga.

Actor/producer Ben Stiller, who played the male model, has reportedly approached Gaga with a £3 million offer to play the love interest to Zoolander and friend/rival Hansel McDonald in the long-rumoured sequel.

‘Gaga is top of their wish-list,’ a source told The Sun. ‘She has the talent and attitude—and an amazing sense of humour.’

Just in case Gaga’s schedule won’t permit her to get in on the action, the filmmakers have a modest B-list consisting of Kate Moss, Kate Upton, Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima, the paper said.

Lady Gaga made a cameo in and will make her official screen debut in Robert Rodriguez’s forthcoming. Something—maybe her turn as a model in friend Nicola Formichetti’s first Mugler show—tells us she’s got what it takes to give Zoolander a run for his modelling money.
