Around the world, red carpets are being brushed down, paparazzi are polishing their lenses and Twiharders are trying in vain to keep their nervous excitement at bay. The international publicity circus for Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 is about to begin, and the question on everyone's minds – even more than which labels will Kristen Stewart opt to wear at the various junkets around the world – is will she appear alongside former (and possibly current, if rumours that they are back together are true) boyfriend Robert Pattinson?

We'll know on Sunday, October 21st, as the film campaign kicks off in Australia. Until then we'll have to satisfy ourselves with rumours and speculation, two of our favourite things, all of which point to the fact that the couple have reunited after spending the summer apart, after revelations that K-Stew was involved with her Snow White and The Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.

In the last few days, Kristen and Rob have been spotted out in LA together with other friends; Kristen’s cheery grin at Paris Fashion Week was also seen as an indication that their break-up had been smoothed over. It's even been reported that she is in the process of buying a house near his.

Rob and Kristen standing next to each other will be seen as a clear sign of reconciliation. However, it might just be a legal requirement. Reports on Radar Online say the film company, Summit, aren't taking any chances. ‘Their individual contracts have very specific language about what is legally required of Rob and Kristen to do on the publicity tour. The studio execs at Summit weren't happy when Rob and Kristen broke up but this is why there are clauses about what is required of the stars to do.’

At ELLE we're old romantics so we're choosing to ignore this information. If Kristen and Rob are pictured standing together that's a sign of love triumphing over everything, OK? Nothing to do with a line of angry lawyers just out of shot…
