Aaron Taylor-Johnson keeps mum on film roles

The brooding actor prefers to talk family

Earlier this month, Aaron Taylor-Johnson stole the affection of Kiera Knightley in Joe Wright’s lavish adaptation of Anna Karenina, and this week the British heartthrob plays boyfriend to Gucci fragrance ambassador, Blake Lively, in Oliver Stone’s latest thriller, Savages.

Featuring alongside an all star cast that includes Salma Hayek, Benicio Del Toro, John Travolta and Emile Hirsch, Aaron had nothing but praise for his co-stars. ‘You learn a lot from these people and get a lot more our of the scene,’ he said to ELLE. ‘It pushes your performance, it’s a huge motivation.’

However speaking about his craft isn’t something that Aaron finds easy. ‘I f**king hate talking about [acting]!’ he said, finding it strange to discuss something he has taken to naturally. Preferring instead to talk about his family. However, of his Anna Karenina co star, he did say ‘Keira’s a really lovely girl, really down to earth.’
