The Olympic Closing Ceremony promised to be a spectacular mash-up of Best of British music – but if that was the main act, then the supporting act was most definitely the Best of British Fashion.

From to , Alexander McQueen to , all the big names of British Fashion made an appearance in the Closing Ceremony.

Singer Emeli Sande opened proceedings wearing , and from there it was a roll-call of our brightest talents: Jessie J wore Vivienne Westwood, as did Lily Donaldson in the Midas Touch parade of UK supermodels. She was joined by her fellow models wearing Burberry, , Jonathan Saunders, McQueen, , Christopher Kane and Stephen Jones.

And the boys did us proud too, with Tinie Tempah wearing and David Gandy in .

David Bowie sadly didn't make an appearance at the event, but his 1980 hit 'Fashion' was a perfect accompaniment to the fashion show, and reminded us all why London is at the vanguard of the fashion industry today.
