Rihanna receives multiple MTV VMA nods

The MTV Video Music Award nominees are announced, and Rihanna multiple nods.

They say that hard work gains results, and if this years MTV Video Music Award nominations list is anything to judge by, Rihanna has been following this age old mantra closely.

Having performed and created music to the point of exhaustion, RiRi has been rewarded by the legendary music channel with five nominations – or an astonishing eleven if you include nods for duets with Drake and Coldplay. Having soundtracked the last eight months with tracks such as We Found Love and Where Have You Been, the 24 year old starlet more than deserves her list of nominations – that include Best Female Video and Video of The Year.
