Taylor Swift tops list of highest-paid young stars

Talent, beauty and supersized paydays... Taylor Swift tops Forbes Magazine’s list of the highest-paid stars under age 30, with Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Adele close behind.

The 22-year-old sweetheart of the American music scene is estimated to have earned $57 million last year, thanks to strong sales of multi-platinum albums, lucrative touring (Forbes says Swift’s concerts gross around $1m per night), and an endorsement deal with CoverGirl cosmetics.

The second-highest earner is Justin Bieber, who made $55m from his record sales, concerts and commercial endorsements. Rihanna ($53m), Gaga ($52m), Katy Perry ($45m) and Adele ($35m), who recently announced she is expecting her first child, fill out the top five.
