It’s far from a secret that Kate Middleton simply adores traditional British pastimes, especially catching a spot of the action at Wimbledon, and so royal watchers have been on high alert since the start of the tournament last week.

Today their patience was rewarded as the swishy-haired one arrived to support Andy Murray (who’s not doing too badly at all this year) in the quarter finals. She’s chosen to wear a favourite cable knitted Alexander McQueen dress, featuring a sort of sailor bib front - from her own wardrobe. Once again she has worn white for the tennis – maybe in a fashion gesture of support with the players?

Last year she attended the tennis during a blazing heatwave in a white Temperley dress with a tiered skirt which sold out immediately from the brand’s website. This year, the Duchess has been forced to wrap up warm against the plunging temperatures. Not always so glamorous, the royal life after all.
