It’s been three long months since we had any news of a quality Kanye Twitter rant to send your way. But Mr West rode to the rescue over the long weekend with a fresh crop of head-shaking tweets.

This time around, his statements were less about the future of the DONDA creative agency, more about things people wear that he hates. Apparently the rapper was driving (being driven?) through New York when he spotted a number of offensive fashion pieces.

‘Just driving through the city and I see a few thing[s] I hate,’ he tweeted to his nearly 7.4 million followers. These included:

‘I hate button up shirts with hoodies’
‘I hate hoodies with sport coats’
‘I hate sport coats with button up shirts, jeans and dress shoes’
‘I hate khaki trench coats with jeans and off brand work out sneakers’
‘I hate khaki cargo shorts’
‘I hate big ass striped scarves’
‘I hate long ass sideburns with the line up RnB beard’
‘...all this in 5 blocks’

West’s threshold for tastelessness breached, he concluded with a one-word indictment of the New York people he saw: ‘detest’.

No word on what West thought of any of the outfits on show at the Met Ball, but we look forward to tuning in to more of his unfiltered thoughts...
