Everyone’s favourite Mad Man has incurred the full wrath of the Kardashian Klan by making some pointed remarks in an interview with ELLE UK. The Golden Globe-winning actor shared his opinions on today’s celebrity culture with ELLE, saying, 'Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated.' Mr Don Draper went on, 'Being a f***ing idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you're rewarded significantly.'

Rather unsurprisingly, his comments went down like a ton of bricks over at Kardashian HQ, and the multi-million dollar earning reality star was quick to retort, saying on Twitter, ‘Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, “stupid,” is in my opinion careless.’

With Twitter once again a battle-ground and Paris Hilton yet to weigh in on the debate, we recommend you buy April’s ELLE to uncover the origins of the argument. Whether you’re in the highbrow intelligentsia camp - siding with the man who worked as a teacher before he making a late entrance to the Hollywood scene as Don Draper - or on the side of the hard-working savvy businesswoman capitalising on her own image, it’s a dispute that’s sure to rattle a few cages in La-La Land and beyond.
