Cambridge goes to Oxford in LFW garb

The Duchess of Cambridge may have given London fashion week a wide berth, but she still attracted notice for her loyalty to British fashion during her most recent charity engagement.

Kate wore a coat dress by LFW presenter Orla Kiely to visit the Rose Hill Primary School and Oxford Spires Academy School in Oxford on Tuesday. The coat sold out on Kiely’s website ‘within minutes’ of the Duchess’s appearance, a spokeswoman for the brand said.

The Duchess spent the day witnessing the work of The Art Room, a charity that uses art to help children with behavioural issues. It was her first public engagement as the charity’s royal patron.
