Our favourite moment from last night's Oscars ceremony wasn't an acceptance speech, an I-don't-mind-I-haven't-won face or even Jennifer Lawrence falling over – again. Instead, it came courtesy of ELLE Style Award winner, Pharrell Williams.

The musician was nominated for an award for his ridiculously contagious song, Happy, which appears on the soundtrack for Despicable Me 2. And, during a live performance of the track, he proved that it's not just us who can't stop dancing to it. Making his way along the A-list front row, he first got Lupita Nyong'o, then Meryl Streep and Amy Adams to shimmy along with him, resulting in one of the most watchable GIFs of the evening.

We thought we couldn't love him any more - or Meryl Streep, for that matter.
