On Saturday night, Lady Gaga premiered her new music video G.U.Y (Girl Under You) on NBCs Dateline. The third track to be released from her Artpop album, it's also Gagas longest video yet, weighing in at a whopping 11 minutes and 46 seconds long (although the credits are especially lengthy).
This is no run-of-the-mill music vid. Directed by Gaga herself, its an epic tale featuring an amalgamation different songs intermixed with her new track. And the locations are equally as eccentric.
Scene one of the saga features Gaga as a winged creature with an arrow through her chest limping across a battlefield. She then finds herself at what looks like a monastery, but is actually Hearst Castle the scene of an obscure party and rebirth of Gaga.
The film unfolds to see the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills lip-synching in a choir, the resurrection of Jesus, Gandhi and Michael Jackson, plus Gaga and her posse shooting money at businessmen in a corporate invasion.
This is the world according to Gaga and anything goes.
