The Golden Globe winner told chat show host David Letterman that during her undergraduate studies at Ohios Denison University, she and her roommate made money by sewing hair scrunchies and selling them to friends.
We were theatre geeks and we had a key to the theatre department, she told Letterman last week. We would go in late at night and we would use their sewing machines and their elastic and we would make scrunchies.... in sorority colours or just cute [colours].
She and her friend raked it in, charging $3 per scrunchie. Not that the quality was the best.
We spent so much time on them, [but] we were so bad. I was constantly sewing the scrunchie to my clothesI was a bad scrunchie maker, she said.
We can see it now: a Jennifer Garner
line of hair accessoriesmodelled by Arthur co-star Russell Brand, perhaps?
