Instead, the actress saunters through Heathrow looking ready for street-style shoots.
Note the way her grey scarf and leather handbag coordinate, pulling the look together. Note also the crisp spring blazer
, no doubt packed in anticipation of a waiting crowd of photographers. And note, most of all, those flared jeans
, which you already recognise as one of springs key looks. Its almost unfair that Paltrow gets to tap into flared jeans leg-elongating properties too, isnt it? (Update: They're MiH's Marrakesh jeans.)
Last week, the Oscar-winning, Country Strong-singing, Glee
-tastic star played down rumours of a $1m album deal, telling The Hollywood Reporter
that shes not heading into the studio just yet.
The truth is, I really would love to make a record, but I dont know exactly how you do that so its not cheesy, she said. I would love to do it.
Although shes not making her own album, she is guesting on someone elses. Glees Matthew Morrison (Mr Schuester) admitted that during Paltrows guest-starring stint on the show, he worked up the nerve to ask her to sing on his forthcoming CD.
Paltrow, who joined the Glee cast as happy-go-lucky Spanish substitute teacher Holly Holliday, will sing a duet of Over the Rainbow on the new album.
Sounds like good practice for a solo singing career...
