Emma and Alberta team up for Birkin-esque eco-line

The pixie-cropped thesp made her first foray into fashion with a collection for People Tree earlier this year. This time, her partner is none other than Alberta Ferretti, the Italian queen of feminine frills. The duo have chosen as their muse 60s icon Jane Birkin, she of the namesake bag and classic androgynous style.

‘We are doing an organic clothing range,’ Watson told UsMagazine.com. ‘I can't reveal the name yet but there will be more information about it soon.’

She wouldn’t go into any further detail, but promised that we’ll see a ‘very classic’ line when the clothes debut just after Christmas. And she issued something of an invitation to aspiring eco-designers: ‘I will put it out there that I will work for anyone for free if they are prepared to make their clothing fair trade organic,’ she said.
