Tatiana Von Furstenberg's (pictured) first film Tanner Hall premieres at the Toronto film festival tonight. For the film, co-written with her friend, Ringo Starr's step-daughter Francesca Gregorini, both girls drew on their own experiences at British boarding schools for inspiration - while Diane provided the school uniforms.
The film, follows four girls as they cope with their overbearing mothers, first loves and of course breaking the rules at their boarding school. We're thinking a grown-up St Trinians with very chic uniform.
The writing duo, who met at US University Brown told WWD today, 'Both of us exist in every single character', so if you have every dreamed of having an international fashion designer as your mum, now is your chance to catch a glimpse of what life would have been like.
The film should go on general release next year.More
