The idea was first conceived when she visited the Louis Vuitton special order factory in Asnières, France. She went into the workshop to place an order and came out with her own collection. 'I had an idea of what I was looking for and couldn't find it. . . I think it must be every womans fantasy to dream up an ideal bag and shoe', says Coppola of the collection, some of which has already been snapped up by Kate Moss. Her jewellery has been a sell-out success and so expanding into maternity fashion and accessories makes perfect sense.
