The actress might not immediately seem like the Rodarte girl - the label is know for it's edgy, futurist, almost sci-fi creations, cob-webbed together from wool, leather, metallic fabrics and sometimes even plastics. But Reese's wholesome, all American, girl-next-door looks have become the perfect foil to Rodarte's fashion forward designs, at the Oscars (right) and film premiers. Providing the answer to how to wear the Mulleavy sister's covetable, yet complex designs.
Yesterday, for the premier of her latest film, (Monsters V Aliens) Reese expertly pared down the anarchic, space-age mini we just saw on the New York catwalk (left) teaming it not with the thigh high Nicholas Kirkwood leather, strappy boots it was seem on the runway with - but perfectly toned bare legs and bloc-bright stillettoes. She finished it off with a completely natural make-up look and relaxed tousled locks - and a Vulcan V-sign wave for Star Trek fans, but that's as sci-fi as she took it.
